Our team is seeking an experienced Investment Accountant for a contract project based onsite in Burlingame. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Yardi investment accounting software and a proven track record in investment/fund accounting within real estate or asset management environments. This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact on a high-visibility project while leveraging your specialized skills. This project is slated to launch in May 2026.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and record investment transactions, valuations, capital calls, distributions, and related activities in Yardi
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for investment portfolios
  • Generate investor reports and maintain accurate investment schedules and financial statements
  • Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls and external requirements
  • Collaborate with asset managers, finance leadership, and external partners to ensure investment records are accurate and up to date
  • Troubleshoot and resolve accounting discrepancies within Yardi

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of investment accounting experience, preferably within real estate or asset management
  • Advanced proficiency with Yardi investment accounting modules is required
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with large-scale accounting systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
