Job Description

Argenta is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Contract Development team. This role is responsible for day to day laboratory technician duties within our contract developmental lab at our Shawnee, KS facility. This role is ideal for a candidate who is motivated, driven and desires to showcase their ability to multitask and work as a team.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct laboratory procedures and testing in accordance with study protocols
  • Assist with the technical writing of data collected
  • Maintain a clean laboratory and storage environment to comply with regulatory agency and sponsor investigation
  • Collect and document research data accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory and study samples and supplies
  • Process study samples and assist in preparing or packaging samples for shipment
  • Maintain ownership of study samples throughout life of study

Requirements

  • Associates degree in a science related field or equivalent experience in a laboratory environment
  • 2 years laboratory experience in GMP/GCP/GLP regulated industry
  • Requires excellent written, communication and organizational skills and the ability to work with others
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong aptitude for technical learning
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
