Beacon Hill's client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a 4-month contract with potential for extension. This position is fully onsite in New Hope, MN and offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative order management environment supporting both internal teams and customer needs.
Job Responsibility
Handle inbound phone calls while delivering professional and friendly customer support
Enter and process customer orders across multiple systems and platforms with a high level of accuracy
Utilize tools such as JDE for commercial order processing, Webdocs for purchase order access, and additional systems for sample order requests
Support EDI-related processes and provide backup coverage once trained
Review daily operational reports and make necessary updates or adjustments to customer orders
Partner closely with the Order Management team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Investigate order discrepancies, determine root causes, and apply appropriate corrections or coding updates
Communicate proactively with internal teams via email and Microsoft Teams to resolve order-related questions or issues
Handle time-sensitive requests including urgent orders and cancellations
Requirements
Previous customer service experience, ideally in a high-volume or order processing environment
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to navigate multiple systems and screens simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, including a polished and professional phone presence
Comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating with internal teams
Detail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve order issues effectively
Engaging and personable, with a team-oriented mindset
