We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Contract Billing & Meter Specialist I to support contract administration and billing processes. You will be responsible for monitoring printer meter readings, processing billing for service contracts, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth and timely invoicing for clients.
Job Responsibility:
Collect, validate, and process meter readings for contracted devices and services
Prepare and issue accurate billing statements in accordance with client contracts
Maintain organized records of billing activities, meter data, and contract documentation
Monitor open items and resolve discrepancies related to meter readings or contract billing
Assist in processing contract changes, renewals, and adjustments (e.g., cancellations, addendums, returns)
Provide support to customers regarding billing inquiries and escalate issues when needed
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and service, to ensure accurate billing and data entry
Ensure compliance with company billing policies and administrative procedures
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to support continuous learning
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
1-2 years of relevant experience in billing, accounting, or contract administration
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors
Good organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Eagerness to learn and grow within contract billing and business operations
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
