Beacon Hill is seeking a Mid-Level Attorney to support a high-volume transactional practice focused on network engineering and infrastructure-related agreements. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with approximately 5+ years of experience who is comfortable handling complex commercial contracts and working independently in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
Job Responsibility:
Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, with a focus on service agreements, licensing agreements, and other transactional documents
Support transactions related to network infrastructure, including data center colocation agreements, indefeasible rights of use (IRUs), dark fiber agreements, and related telecom/networking arrangements
Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to revise and finalize agreements with existing vendors and service providers
Provide practical legal guidance on contractual risk, business terms, and compliance considerations
Manage multiple agreements simultaneously while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, technical, and procurement stakeholders
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) required and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required
Approximately 5+ years of experience in transactional or commercial contracting work
Prior experience with telecommunications, network infrastructure, or data center-related agreements strongly preferred
Familiarity with colocation agreements, IRUs, dark fiber agreements, and similar network engineering-related transactions is highly preferred
Strong experience reviewing and negotiating service and licensing agreements required
Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of transactional work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a business-oriented approach to legal counseling
Nice to have:
Prior experience with telecommunications, network infrastructure, or data center-related agreements strongly preferred
Familiarity with colocation agreements, IRUs, dark fiber agreements, and similar network engineering-related transactions is highly preferred
