Job Description

Our client is looking to fill the role of a mid-to-senior level Commercial Real Estate Attorney on a contract basis. The Admitted Attorney will assist in the Commercial Real Estate practice of a midtown firm. This position will start ASAP and will be remote unless one prefers to work out of the office. The position will run for approximately 3-4 months, working a minimum of 20-25 hours per week with potential for longer hours.

Job Responsibility

  • Reviewing, analyzing, and managing legal due diligence (including title, survey, environmental, and zoning)
  • non-disclosure agreements and LOI’s
  • managing and closing complex commercial real estate transactions

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate Experience
  • New York bar admission is preferred but not required
  • Must have significant experience in connection with commercial real estate transactions, including experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial leases and purchase and sale agreements
