Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Contract Art Director & Designer to immediately backfill a critical role during a maternity leave. This is a high-speed, temporary contract requiring a versatile creative who can step into existing workstreams and deliver high-quality design and art direction from day one. This role supports enterprise-level B2B marketing initiatives within a highly technical, science-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings strong design craft, visual restraint, and comfort translating complex subject matter into clear, compelling marketing assets.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute and refine creative concepts for B2B marketing campaigns and go-to-market initiatives
  • Design high-quality marketing collateral across print and digital, including: Trade show and event graphics, Presentation decks, Campaign assets and supporting materials
  • Provide art direction support for photography, illustration, and video assets to ensure brand consistency
  • Apply strong layout and typography skills to create clear, polished, and effective designs
  • Own projects end-to-end, delivering production-ready final files aligned to established brand guidelines
  • Present work to internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback efficiently

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional design experience (agency and/or fast-paced in-house environments)
  • Strong art direction, brand design, and concepting capabilities
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma for collaborative, high-fidelity design
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Strong presentation design skills (Microsoft PowerPoint required)
  • Experience designing for both print and digital
  • Demonstrated ability to work within established brand systems
  • Strong layout and typography skills for marketing collateral

Experience using generative AI tools to accelerate ideation and concepting
