Are you an Australian/New Zealand based Contract Administrator looking to take your career international? Our client, a leading UK civil construction group, is seeking motivated commercial professionals to join their team in Central London. This role is perfect for a Contracts Administrator with a background in civil infrastructure, bulk earthworks, or mining who is ready to transition into the UK market as a Quantity Surveyor.
Job Responsibility:
Leading contract negotiations and finalising scopes/terms with clients and subcontractors
Ensuring teams comply with commercial requirements to keep projects on schedule and within budget
Preparing and issuing Variations, EOTs (Extensions of Time), and progress claims
Acting as the commercial bridge between internal project teams and external Tier 1 clients
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years as a Contract Administrator in Australia (Civil, Earthworks, or Infrastructure background is highly regarded)
Or a Project Engineer/Project Manager role with focus on Commercial/Pre-Construction/Tendering
Strong grasp of upstream and downstream contract management
A desire to learn UK forms of contract (e.g., NEC or JCT)
Top-tier negotiation skills and a professional approach to dispute resolution
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
Nice to have:
