Are you an Australian/New Zealand based Contract Administrator looking to take your career international? Our client, a leading UK civil construction group, is seeking motivated commercial professionals to join their team in Central London. This role is perfect for a Contracts Administrator with a background in civil infrastructure, bulk earthworks, or mining who is ready to transition into the UK market as a Quantity Surveyor.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading contract negotiations and finalising scopes/terms with clients and subcontractors
  • Ensuring teams comply with commercial requirements to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Preparing and issuing Variations, EOTs (Extensions of Time), and progress claims
  • Acting as the commercial bridge between internal project teams and external Tier 1 clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years as a Contract Administrator in Australia (Civil, Earthworks, or Infrastructure background is highly regarded)
  • Or a Project Engineer/Project Manager role with focus on Commercial/Pre-Construction/Tendering
  • Strong grasp of upstream and downstream contract management
  • A desire to learn UK forms of contract (e.g., NEC or JCT)
  • Top-tier negotiation skills and a professional approach to dispute resolution
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
