Job Description

To contribute to the profitability and growth of Service Stream by establishing, processing and controlling the payment of wages and salaries and to ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of related payroll records whilst adhering to the relevant statutory legislation and Service Streams Policies and Procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Timely and Accurate Payroll Processing: Ensure all employees’ Digital Time Sheets are reviewed and processed accurately and efficiently daily
  • Enterprise Agreement Compliance: Interpret and apply relevant Enterprise Agreements to ensure payroll adherence
  • Efficient Query Resolution: Respond to and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and stakeholders promptly and professionally
  • Data Entry & Validation: Utilise strong data analysis and analytical skills to validate payroll data and calculations, ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Deadline Management: Strong time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet tight deadlines successfully
  • Effective Communication: Payroll matters effectively, fostering positive relationships with employees and other stakeholders
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Maintain precise records of all payroll records in line with company policies
  • Employee Data Management: Handle employee onboarding, offboarding, and employment condition changes
  • Audit Support: Assist with audit preparation by gathering necessary documentation and responding to inquiries

Requirements

  • Proven experience in processing medium to large payrolls and financial administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and financial management systems
  • Exceptional data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders

Nice to have

Certification in Payroll Administration or Diploma in Business Administration
