Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Specialist to support our client on the west side of Cincinnati. In this project role, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence. This role is 100% onsite and manufacturing experience is required.

Job Responsibility

  • Validate job instructions by ensuring processes align with prescribed guidelines
  • Conduct time studies to analyze value-added tasks, foreign elements, and non-cyclic work
  • Develop standard work combination sheets to optimize workflows
  • Break down jobs into distinct elements, supporting balanced work charts
  • Utilize Excel extensively and leverage tools like Minitab for data analysis
  • Collaborate on plant layout improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Promote safety and ergonomics within manufacturing processes
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices to streamline operations
  • Apply Six Sigma principles to address quality challenges and drive improvement
  • Ensure consistent quality control measures are applied throughout production

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Minitab
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application
  • Knowledge of safety and ergonomics standards in industrial settings
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification and practical project experience
  • Ability to perform detailed time studies and process analysis
  • Skilled in developing standard work documentation and balance charts
