We are actively seeking a CNHI Business System (Continuous Improvement) Site Leader for our manufacturing operations in Racine, WI.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Site Leadership Team in implementing and continually improving the CNH Business System (CBS)
  • Implementation of an effect Daily Management System which includes: Point of Impact Daily Management (KPIs, daily review and cadence of root cause problem solving)
  • Site “Compass Room” where we drive a cadence of daily and weekly systemic improvement by monitoring site KPIs and initiating Root Cause Problem Solving when targets are not being met
  • Identify 2-3 Breakthrough KPIs where we drive focused systematic improvement via Breakthrough Labs
  • Utilize Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Problem Solving to identify Projects, Kaizens (high impact 1 week improvement workshops), and “Just Do It” tasks that will impact these KPIs and achieve targets
  • Monitor Projects, Kaizens and Tasks to ensure timely execution and effectiveness (KPI Results)
  • Monthly Operating Review to monitor Focus 5 KPI performance and drive effective Root Cause Problem Solving when targets are not met
  • Development of the CNH Cultural Beliefs
  • Utilization of Kaizen (1 week high impact process improvement workshops)
  • Value Stream Mapping – including monetization
  • Standard Work Kaizen – including Std WIP, Std Work Combination, 1 piece flow, Karakuri Development (material and tool presentation) and 5S
  • Variation Reduction Kaizen – Root Cause Problem Solving
  • Transactional Process Improvement Kaizen (Variation Reduction / Standard Work) - Rapid Change Over (SMED) Kaizen
  • Material Pull Systems / Kanban / Heijunka Kaizen
  • Total Productive Maintenance (Preventive, Autonomous)
  • 3P (Process, Product, Layout, Structure) Design Kaizen
  • Support the development of core technical and leadership skills of site needed to drive the CNH Business System
  • Drive improved levels of employee engagement through 1)Kaizen Participation, 2)Focused Problem Solving as part of the Daily Management process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Engineering or Business majors preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing business leading/implementing Lean/CI tools

Nice to have:

  • Proven track record of delivering results in a high-performance continuous improvement environment ideally including complex multi-product and market business with strong preference for high priced capital equipment sold through retail distribution
  • Experience using Lean/CI tools in both manufacturing and business process environment to deliver results
  • Factories building complex vehicles in a highly mixed model Assembly Line style with complex supply chain and logistics requirements
  • Experience teaching, coaching and facilitating teams utilizing the core Lean Toolsets in a Rapid Improvement Workshop (1 week) style
  • Toyota Production System / Shingijutsu / Danaher
  • Experience driving increased customer focus, understanding and value creation across a very internally focused organization
  • High energy, effective communicator capable of leading across functional lines and without direct reporting authority
