Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Intern, reporting to Lean Practitioner Manager working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba location. This is a full-time internship opportunity that is based at our office in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is up to 8 months in length, starting in early May 2026.
Job Responsibility:
Gathers data and information
Work a lean project
Work with Lean Practitioners to assist with facilitation of lean events and workshops
Apply Problem Solving skills in the work area
Perform audits as 5S or Tier Effectiveness
Desktop/Standards creation
Working directly with an assigned mentor or a buddy
Learn about Aerospace Manufacturing
Requirements:
Must be enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited university or college
Must have knowledge of Microsoft office products Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
Must have strong analytical skills
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Nice to have:
Prefer previous internship experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
Experience working within a manufacturing company
Prefer students registered in a technical program
