Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Intern, reporting to Lean Practitioner Manager working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba location. This is a full-time internship opportunity that is based at our office in Winnipeg, Manitoba and is up to 8 months in length, starting in early May 2026.

Job Responsibility:

  • Gathers data and information
  • Work a lean project
  • Work with Lean Practitioners to assist with facilitation of lean events and workshops
  • Apply Problem Solving skills in the work area
  • Perform audits as 5S or Tier Effectiveness
  • Desktop/Standards creation
  • Working directly with an assigned mentor or a buddy
  • Learn about Aerospace Manufacturing

Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student with an accredited university or college
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft office products Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

  • Prefer previous internship experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Experience working within a manufacturing company
