As a Continuous Improvement Manager I, you will lead the implementation of the Continuous Improvement Model, empowering teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement sustainable process enhancements. You will partner across functions to streamline operations, improve performance, and build a culture of continuous improvement. Job Responsibility:
Be a business partner with operations & functional management, to identify opportunities, utilizing systematic problem solving to eradicate losses
Utilize Lean, Six Sigma techniques and CI tools to lead the organization in data-based decision making
Manage Site Improvement Projects through project plan development, results tracking and leading and coaching
Co-deliver effective Continuous Improvement training courses
Implement, support and coach site Manufacturing Operating System
Develop and implement a plant communication plan for process improvement efforts
Serve as subject matter expert for CI Methodology, CI Tools and the implementation of Daily Process controls
Actively participate in benchmarking and CI Network connections
Support achievement of site conversion cost targets and identify cost reduction opportunities
Timely communication, tracking and reporting on project progress
Organize regular meetings with key stakeholders
Promote the transformation from a reactive organizational culture to one that is more preventative and predictable
Develop and participate in Rewards and Recognition programs
Ensure deliverables support the 4-Ps
Gain a solid understanding of the Company’s key initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, and Business Management
1-3 years related experience
Knowledge of LEAN principles, Six Sigma, TQM, SPC, PIP and QIP
Combination of business, interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills
Self-starter mentality and motivated by challenge
Strong sense of teamwork with high level of individual contribution
Ability to learn new concepts, combine with common sense, and effectively apply to problem solving
Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
Ability to communicate and work with teams at all organizational levels from Senior management to shop floor
Willingness to promote and drive change
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
Ability to support all Shift (1st, 2nd, & 3rd) on Continuous Improvement initiatives
