Continuous Improvement Lead, Mechanical Engineering

• Collaborate with production and test teams to understand the details and context around failures
• Review and synthesize data on failures and issues in Jira, generating a deep understanding of the maturity of all aspects of our actuator products
• Conduct failure analysis and root cause/corrective action work on specific defects and failure modes
• Propose and execute design changes/ECOs to correct defects and prevent future failures
• Be a primary contributor to the actuation product and technology roadmap, championing what improvements should be made when and what technologies need investigation to provide value on future products

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus a minimum of 7 years of experience in a design, systems or sustaining engineering role
• Extensive experience with Root Cause Analysis and general problem solving methodologies
• Extensive experience launching and improving products, ideally utilizing ECO control to do so
• Exceptional organization and written/verbal communication skills
• A proven track record of autonomously managing large, complex projects, for which prioritization and delegation decisions were left to you
• Experience working in a collaborative setting, particularly in dynamic and agile environments
• Comfort with project management and agile task management systems
• Proficient CAD user
• Experience with PLM systems

• Experience with Jira, JAMA and Smartsheets
• Experience using CATIA CAD system
• Experience using Arena and/or ENOVIA PLM systems
