Job Description

The role requires a leader who can lead and support Citi's Enterprise Resilience program across multiple business lines within UK and Europe. The successful candidate will work closely with the Cluster and Global Continuity of Business (COB) teams and with local business and country management. The position requires a candidate with good management skills, leadership capabilities, and an ability to lead a variety of activities in parallel. The candidate must be able to form trusting relationships with senior executives, should push for delivery of workload within prescribed timeframe and should be able to influence within the businesses being supported in order to capture and maintain high quality COB plans that are able to support Citi's businesses when things go wrong.

Job Responsibility

  • Develops and manages COB & Ops Res solutions for multiple functional areas
  • Subject matter expert in at least one line of business and/or COB or Ops Res technology or policy discipline
  • Implements, and applies area wide ER policies and standards by leveraging knowledge of globally accepted CoB and Ops Res principles
  • Manages all related CoB & Ops Res deliverables such as: Business Impact Analysis, Enhanced Business Impact Analysis, Table Top Exercises, CBS selection, choice of ITOL drives delivery of scenario testing
  • Filter and communicate updates from Citi’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and/or Cyber Fusion Center to respective COB entity BRC where required and provides guidance on crisis planning/ actions as needed
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy, has attention to detail
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Operational Resilience and/or Continuity of Business or demonstrated capability
  • Experience in banking or financial services is required
  • Knowledge of Citi business operations is an advantage
  • Ability to manage projects, expectations, and maintain key relationships
  • Familiarity with the emerging regulatory environment as it relates to third-party risk management and Operational Resilience
  • Advanced project management, data analysis and reporting ability
  • with a good understanding of supporting technologies (applications, reporting tools, and data presentation)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
