Job Description:

MacLeod Cares Surf Lodge Nursing Home is a 36-bed long-term care home located in Lockeport, Nova Scotia, overlooking Back Harbour. As a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA), you will provide hands-on, person-centered care that supports the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our Residents. Whether you are newly certified or bring years of experience, you will be supported through mentorship, training, and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Responsibility:

Provide hands-on, person-centered care that supports the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our Residents

Requirements:

Valid CCA Certification with Medication Administration Certificate in Nova Scotia (or equivalent)
Compassionate and positive personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellence driven with a sincere desire to work with the elderly
A clear vulnerable sector and criminal record check

Nice to have:

Those currently enrolled in LPN, paramedic, or related healthcare programs who have completed pharmacology are also encouraged to apply
