Our client, a leading commercial law firm renowned for its expertise in construction disputes, is seeking a Permanent Contentious Construction Solicitor to join their dynamic national team. This role offers extremely flexible hybrid working, leaving it to you to choose whether you work from home or the office, and even which office you work from. Job Responsibility:
Managing complex contentious construction disputes, including PFI/PPP and project-related cases
Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies and contractual matters
Handling a diverse caseload of significant claims, including adjudications, defect issues, and high-value disputes
Engaging in business development activities to support team growth
Collaborating with multi-office teams and external industry stakeholders
Requirements:
5+ years PQE with strong contentious construction experience
Strong legal analysis, drafting, and client liaison skills
Ability to manage own workload efficiently and effectively
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to dispute resolution
Ambition to work within a high-performing team and contribute to business development activities
Nice to have:
PFI/PPP experience, but not essential
