Job Description:

On behalf of our client in the commercial insurance industry, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer / Editor to produce and refine compelling content for B2C marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a background in writing and editing, as well as experience with commercial insurance or a related field. This candidate will play a key role in ensuring that content is clear, persuasive, and aligned with the brand voice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Content Creation: Write engaging and informative copy for various marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, email campaigns, social media, flyers, brochures and video scripts
  • Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency. Correct all grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers and other marketing colleagues to develop content that supports our marketing strategies and business goals. Will use Workfront project management tools to help complete projects across teams
  • Research: Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant information into content
  • Brand Voice and Standards: Understand brand voice and uphold brand standards across all communications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting and editing experience, preferably in the commercial insurance industry or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to translate complex insurance concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
