We are looking for a Content Systems Manager to support content architecture, taxonomy, and system integration efforts for a long-term contract opportunity in Woodland Hills, California. This role works across product, engineering, and vendor teams to help ensure content structures are accurately defined, implemented, and maintained for reliable downstream use. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and comfortable translating business needs into clear execution plans while keeping multiple priorities moving forward.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate with internal technology teams and external partners to rank priorities, manage backlog items, and drive delivery of the most valuable content system enhancements
Gather input from business stakeholders and convert operational needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with brand, technical, and performance expectations
Support enterprise content architecture and automation initiatives by helping shape scalable content models, taxonomy frameworks, and structured data approaches
Monitor content ingestion processes to promote accurate imports, resolve data quality issues, and assist with manual entry or cleanup activities when needed
Partner with cross-functional teams on content audits, documentation, and governance efforts to improve consistency and long-term usability of content assets
Provide first-level troubleshooting support for business users, identify root causes of system or workflow issues, and engage technical teams for deeper resolution when required
Create and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, and related reference materials that help technical and non-technical stakeholders stay aligned
Contribute to ongoing improvements that reduce operational inefficiencies, strengthen content management practices, and support steady release progress
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience in digital product management, publishing, marketing communications, or a similar field
Experience in project coordination, product management, or digital content systems within a fast-paced business environment
Working knowledge of content management platforms, relational databases, and structured content ecosystems
experience with Adobe Experience Manager or headless CMS tools is an advantage
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and project or issue tracking platforms such as Jira, Trello, Planner, or Microsoft Project
Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including process maps, annotated layouts, and workflow references for cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical groups
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities with consistency and sound judgment
