Job Description

We are partnering with a SaaS company in Austin to hire Content Strategist to support the full content lifecycle, from ideation through execution and performance tracking. This role will contribute to initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally to develop messaging, create high-impact content, and analyze performance metrics. You’ll work alongside an established marketing team and play a key role in scaling content strategy during a period of growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with product marketing and subject matter experts to develop accurate, audience-specific content
  • Repurpose content across formats to support the full customer lifecycle (awareness through retention)
  • Align messaging across product areas, industries, and key initiatives
  • Conduct regular audits to identify content gaps and opportunities for refresh or reuse
  • Help maintain and organize a centralized content library using internal tools
  • Support publishing workflows using a CMS platform (WordPress)
  • Apply SEO and emerging search optimization strategies to improve reach and visibility
  • Create and edit a range of content including blogs, reports, case studies, guides, email campaigns, and web copy

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or related field
  • Background in B2B technology or software environments required
  • Demonstrated experience creating a variety of marketing content assets
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress), project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet), and SEO best practices
  • Experience leveraging AI tools for content research and production while maintaining quality and ethical standards
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and stakeholder communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
