Job Description

As a Content Design expert, you’ll be at the forefront of creating intuitive and engaging digital products, directly influencing how users manage their financial lives and interact with our platforms. Your strategic thinking and craft will drive clarity, foster trust, and deliver meaningful solutions, balancing functionality with complexity on a highly visible platform.

Job Responsibility

  • Apply robust content strategy principles (planning, creation, governance) to projects, delivering high-quality user experiences
  • Collaborate with designers and product partners to architect user experiences, providing a foundation for alignment, prototyping, visual design, and content design
  • Produce high-quality UX content, quickly integrate feedback, identify and solve content design problems, and meet both business and user needs
  • Align content with business requirements and user needs to support core strategic objectives
  • Inform all content decisions based on data, research, and careful planning
  • Write content according to UX writing standards, and align/edit existing or placeholder content to these standards
  • Lead content reviews and influence stakeholders by articulating content design decisions with clear rationale
  • Oversee content direction and actively participate in and/or lead peer reviews
  • Identify gaps in UX writing standards and propose effective solutions
  • Create comprehensive solutions alongside a cross-functional Agile team, considering how digital, physical, and service channels integrate seamlessly
  • Utilize problem definition techniques and data to drive project requirements
  • Facilitate ideation efforts with a strong focus on the problem to solve, fostering a “how might we” conversation
  • Lead reviews and drive decisions, embracing an iterative approach to achieve great products within scope and budget, prioritizing progress over perfection
  • Proactively raise potential roadblocks to team or project leads and collaboratively identify solutions to remove blockers
  • Maintain high standards, including channel and content standards, and adherence to established design systems
  • Lead projects across various UX disciplines to create seamless experiences

Requirements

  • 6+ years of content design experience specifically focused on digital products or equivalent
  • An online portfolio showcasing your process and design thinking
  • Experience with all aspects of a user-centered design process, including user research, developing user flows, creating wireframes, writing for accessibility, and creating content specifications
  • Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team within an iterative process and an Agile development methodology
  • Strong self-management skills, comfortable with substantial responsibility, working directly with client partners, and capable of managing your project schedules
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, FigJam, and Writer
  • Experience running design sessions with cross-functional teams
  • Effective relationship builder—ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise, and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as diverse personality types
  • Comfort in a project-oriented work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic

Nice to have

  • 1+ year of content design experience for touch-based mobile interfaces
  • 1+ year of conversational design experience
  • Experience using AI assistants or LLMs for solutioning
