Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic Content Marketer to tell the story of our company and our technology through case studies, blog posts, webinars, social media, newsletters, and more. The right person for this role is passionate about our customer’s missions, communicating product value propositions, and deeply proactive about delivering quality and on-brand messaging. The Content Marketing Specialist will report to the Sr Director of Marketing and Partnerships.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop sales enablement content including decks, product sheets, and other assets to support customer engagement by executive and BD teams
  • Develop company-based, product-based, and customer-based content strategies to drive hyper-focused sales engagements at every stage of the customer lifecycle, from new awareness campaigns to “land and expand” opportunities with existing customers
  • Work closely with internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop op-eds and blog posts, prepare talking points/scripts for speaking engagements, and support responses to sales proposals (RFI/RFPs)
  • Collaborate closely with goTenna executive team on company branding and messaging public relations, government relations, and various types of proposals, remaining close to strategic goals and ensuring projects remain on track
  • Project manage development working with Marketing Design Specialist for all goTenna website properties and prioritize new project/feature “roadmap” as needed for company and team-level goals and as dictated by digital engagement and performance reporting
  • Ensure timely, quality, and on budget completion of content marketing projects by providing clear instructions and detailed feedback to internal team members as well as freelancers and other vendors
  • Maintain a consistent and up-to-date resources and product collateral library for pre-sales enablement, while supporting the Customer Experience team with post-sale product training and educational materials
  • Track performance against data-driven metrics using multiple data sources or systems
  • Be responsible for the company wide editorial calendar and publishing cadence/workflows for marketing channels, including goTenna’s website, blog, and social media accounts.
  • Establish a data-driven Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy to monitor and analyze content performance, making iterative improvements in line with company-level goals, account-based marketing and sales campaigns, and other brand initiatives
  • Work with the Product team to translate complex technical specifications into customer ready go-to-market (GTM) products that effectively communicate value to stakeholders

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in content marketing, business to government (B2G) sales, or a related field
  • Led, directed, or executed content marketing and go-to-market processes specifically for B2G
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Deep attention to detail and strong project management skills
  • Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value
  • Ability to work with and collaborate with cross-functional groups within and outside the organization

  • Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills — able to readily share writing and other content samples upon request
