Job Description

Join Macmillan Learning as a Content Marketing Intern for a 12-week remote internship, where you'll assist a dynamic marketing team in creating engaging content and learning about digital marketing strategies.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting with SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategy, reporting, and demand generation tasks to optimize brand visibility
  • Conducting a comprehensive content audit to evaluate and improve existing assets
  • Assisting with content updates like blogs, whitepapers, and case studies
  • Creating visual and social media content in Adobe Express, including graphics for marketing initiatives
  • Supporting copywriting and video editing for content creation using tools such as Descript and CapCut
  • Managing email inboxes, organizing communication, and responding to inquiries
  • Conducting marketing research projects to support strategic decision-making
  • Helping with short-form video creation for social media campaigns and brand storytelling
  • Assisting with special projects and administrative marketing tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degreed program (i.e. Bachelor’s, Master’s, etc.)
  • Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Quick learner with a passion for marketing and brand experience
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, or campaign execution
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Adobe Express, video editing tools, or email marketing platforms is a plus
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, or similar tools preferred
