As Content Localization and Operations Supervisor, you will be part of the Programming & Production team within Content Planning DTC, supporting Disney+ across the Nordic region. Based in Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm or Helsinki, this role plays a vital part in delivering a seamless, high‑quality viewing experience for audiences in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. This role is parental leave cover, running from approximately June 2026 to June 2027.
Job Responsibility:
Managing operational processes for local content across Disney+ Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, ensuring materials are correctly ordered and delivered
Coordinating scheduling and localization for live programming on Disney+ Nordics, working closely with ESPN sports teams
Planning and scheduling in‑service content promotions, ensuring priority titles are effectively showcased
Overseeing all aspects of localization processes, including titles, dubbing and subtitling, and tracking progress
Coordinating localization checks for priority DTC titles and ensuring key content and product features are localized on time
Updating content schedules, trackers and live/linear plans to keep all teams aligned
Using Looker to analyse performance data and support content localization prioritisation
Working with regional and global teams to ensure localization orders align with Nordic market plans
Managing ad‑hoc operational projects and supporting taskforces for key launches
Contributing to analysis and insights that support future content development and acquisition strategies
Ensuring issues within the service are accurately reported and tracked with global teams via Jira
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience working in process‑driven environments requiring exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and deadline management, ideally within broadcast, streaming or SVOD
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working within a global entertainment organisation and building strong relationships across multiple territories
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment
Confidence working with Excel or Google Sheets
A proactive mindset, comfortable taking ownership and driving continuous improvement in processes and workflows
A strong interest in entertainment and an openness to learning and working with evolving technologies
Fluency in at least one of the Nordic languages - Norwegian, Finnish, Swedish or Danish
Nice to have:
Experience working with content management systems
Familiarity with localization workflows, live programming or sports content
Experience supporting analysis or performance reporting to inform content decisions
