Job Description:

AirOps is hiring a Content Engineer to help define and lead one of the most important new roles in modern marketing. This is not a traditional SEO or content position. It’s an opportunity to join the company that redefined Content Engineering. Think about how product management, growth, and DevOps emerged as new categories. Content Engineering is at that same inflection point. In 2026, Content Engineering becomes the most important role inside the modern B2B marketing org — a blend of organic growth strategy, frontier research, and precise workflow execution. Joining AirOps means stepping into that shift early and influencing how brands grow visibility and quality across every search surface. Your north star: Set the standard for what a 10x Content Engineer can achieve, building the systems, workflows, and technical foundations that make AirOps the model for the next generation of content teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Combine search best-practices, automation, and AI to build workflows that power AirOps’ brand engine
  • Execute a high-velocity, high-quality AI Search roadmap and strengthen AirOps’ brand visibility
  • Build structured content systems and workflows that make publishing faster and more higher quality
  • Contribute insights, architecture work, and structured publishing improvements that drive smarter content decisions
  • Champion the role Produce public-facing examples that demonstrate best-in-class content engineering
  • Use Page360, audits, and performance data to guide content priorities and structured publishing improvements
  • Deliver measurable improvements across rankings, AEO citations, structured extractability, and adoption of AirOps workflows
  • Build workflows in AirOps for briefs, refresh cycles, publishing, and structured outputs, supported by templates and repeatable processes
  • Create best-in-class human-in-the-loop workflows that improve content operations, and break new ground for our product team
  • Execute on-page optimization and publish content in the CMS, conduct technical audits, and implement structured content updates
  • Lead keyword and topic research while supporting site architecture improvements, schema strategy, structured data deployment, and SEO architecture work
  • Build dashboards that track rankings, visibility, AEO performance, search behavior, and workflow impact, supported by recurring reporting and insights
  • Partner with content, brand, product, design, and search teams while monitoring search behavior, content decay, and overall performance trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in SEO execution, technical SEO, or content operations
  • AirOps experience is a standout advantage
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, technical fundamentals, structured content, and schema
  • Skilled in SEO reporting, keyword research, site audits, dashboard creation, and data interpretation
  • Experience publishing and optimizing content in CMS platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, or HubSpot
  • Proficient with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, and Looker
  • Experience with workflow building, AI prompting, and automation tools such as Zapier, Make, and Clay
  • Strong communicator comfortable working across brand, content, search, design, and product teams
  • Organized, detail-oriented operator who thrives in repeatable systems and fast-moving environments

Nice to have:

Huge points if you're already a power user, cohort grad, or have built workflows inside AirOps

What we offer:
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Competitive benefits package tailored to your location
  • Flexible time off policy
  • Parental Leave
  • A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast
