Job Description

Based in London, you will edit our analysis to a consistently high standard for an audience of energy, macro and quant specialists. You will also play a key role in how our market-moving content is packaged, discovered and experienced by clients. We pride ourselves on the quality of our end product, so you will be meticulous about ensuring accuracy. You will also know how visuals attract readers and can tell a complex story in an instant.

Job Responsibility

  • Edit research reports and other written materials for clarity, narrative and accuracy, ensuring copy adheres to house style and aligns with service/company views. You will use AI tools to assist and help shape their evolving use
  • Collaborate with analysts on structure, argument and flow, with feedback that strengthens writing
  • Publish and update content using our CMS (Contentstack). You will bring editorial judgement to the selection of images and data visualisations
  • Work with the Content Optimisation team to organise, present and showcase research, views and products on the client portal, and bring performance insights back to the editing room

Requirements

  • Strong experience of copy editing in a professional, collaborative environment, ideally working on complex commercial or analytical content
  • Ability to work accurately at speed with a commercial mindset, prioritising overlapping and tight deadlines
  • Confident with CMSs, tagging systems and modern editorial and publishing tools
  • Native-level fluency and excellent communication skills in English
  • Interest in the full life of content, not just the editorial pipeline. You will need a feel for how visuals drive engagement and how they complement text and data
  • Comfortable using AI tools within editorial work—you don’t need to be a technical expert, but you do need to be willing to learn to employ evolving tools

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in the energy, financial, business journalism or government sectors
  • Knowledge of and interest in global politics, economics or business
  • Experience with the management, strategy or architecture of research content
  • Prior experience working with a range of non-native English speakers

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation package that includes annual bonuses
  • Comprehensive private health insurance
  • Substantial pension contributions
  • Company share options
  • Subsidized gym memberships
  • Generous holiday policy
