Job Responsibility
Represent clients in consumer warranty and automotive defense cases, ensuring effective legal strategies and favorable outcomes
Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and arguments
Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, document requests, and depositions
Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings or trials
Maintain a high volume of cases while ensuring quality and timeliness in all legal work
Provide clients with clear communication and updates regarding case progress and outcomes
Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents to provide informed legal counsel
Participate in court hearings and trials as needed to represent client interests
Requirements
An active member of the California State Bar in good standing
A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for candidates with 5+ years
Strong skills in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Proficiency in conducting legal research and applying findings to case strategies
Experience with discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
Ability to manage multiple cases in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
