Job Responsibility

  • Partner with segments and channels to consolidate roadmaps, identify synergies and gaps against Joint Business Plan (JBP) targets, and provide strategic recommendations
  • Conduct horizon scanning to assess market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor or new entrant strategies impacting the strategic roadmap
  • Lead the bi-annual multi-year planning cycle, ensuring alignment with annual planning, prioritization, and evolving business priorities
  • Monitor progress against strategic milestones and JBP targets
  • proactively manage risks and recommend corrective actions to keep plans on track
  • Deliver strategic analysis and white papers to support decision-making and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with central strategy teams to ensure the roadmap reflects UK-wide market trends and strategic priorities

Requirements

  • You bring experience in consumer or commercial strategy, ideally within UK telecoms or another complex, fast‑moving environment
  • You enjoy structured problem‑solving and are comfortable facilitating thoughtful, inclusive discussions with senior stakeholders
  • You have a natural ability to translate consumer insight and behaviour into strategic direction that feels grounded and human
  • You’re confident exploring competitor and market dynamics, understanding how choices around propositions and pricing shape outcomes
  • You’ve supported multi‑year planning and roadmapping, and are comfortable navigating change with flexibility and calm
  • You balance commercial awareness with strong analytical thinking, considering financial impact alongside long‑term value
  • You’re curious about digital transformation and how it can create more meaningful consumer experiences
