Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Consumer Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team and support our global audience. As a Consumer Product Marketer at WhatsApp, you will help grow products used by billions of people and businesses all over the world. WhatsApp is at a pivotal moment, navigating a rapidly evolving competitive landscape, Meta-wide ambitions, and emerging global regulations. We’re seeking a strategic Product Marketing Manager to lead our Compliance and Security portfolios within our Privacy organization. This role will be at the forefront of landing impactful privacy moments, steering executive-level, principle-driven discussions, and preserving user trust through critical go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with product and legal teams to ensure regulatory readiness
  • Consolidate, coordinate, and own the narrative around user notice moments across WhatsApp, ensuring leadership visibility and alignment at every step
  • Influence and shape product strategies, positioning and narratives through the use of data and insights for target audiences in close collaboration with research, product, communications and policy
  • Develop and execute on go-to-market strategies including goals, metrics for success, asset development and integrated launch planning with cross functional partners
  • Tackle complex problems strategically, and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-time experience in Marketing or Operations
  • Direct experience in Product Marketing, partnering closely with Product teams
  • Experience with consumer Go-To-Market strategies based on consumer insights
  • Experience working with product, marketing, policy and communications teams at all levels of management
  • Executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Project management, organization and influencing skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent relevant experience

  • Work closely with cross-functional risk and product teams to bring Mercury products to market in a way that meets all relevant financial partner and regulatory compliance obligations
  • Ensure all processes and products under your area of responsibility comply with applicable rules and regulations
  • Stay up to date with any changes to applicable regulations, and implement necessary updates to impacted products to maintain compliance
  • Support expansion for new product launches by scoping, defining and communicating product and compliance requirements
  • Work cross-functionally to drive remediation efforts for products within your defined scope
  • Support the compliance function in defining and achieving departmental initiatives, maintaining relevant policies and procedures, developing documentation solutions, and liaising with auditors
  • Contribute to building a strong culture of compliance across Mercury
