Job Description

The Consumer Marketing Manager will oversee asmodee’s US consumer-facing traditional, digital, and social media marketing efforts. This role executes impactful go-to-market plans for partner(s) and asmodee’s team that invigorates new and existing consumer interest in asmodee’s line. You will develop and execute the U.S. mass market consumer marketing strategy, own social networks, and curate content (images, video, written) to reach asmodee’s key target customers. Working with the Director of Commercial Marketing, you will develop and support an omnichannel marketing strategy that combines digital marketing with paid search, e-retail, and owned website content to build brand recognition and drive retail sales, using web analytic tools to track campaign progress. This role also supervises the Digital Marketing Specialist, guiding their work and ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.

Job Responsibility

  • Create and manage advertising campaigns or their execution by external partners to support marketing initiatives around our top brands
  • Oversee the creation and management of 45% of the entire US marketing budget, with a large focus on ecommerce spending
  • Lead post-specific reporting, highlighting wins and providing recommendations on potential optimizations
  • Convey the consumer marketing plans to all stakeholders (sales, studios, marketing managers). Receive feedback and adapt plans according to needs
  • Detail specific goals for return on investment for each advertising campaign (ROAS, acquisition cost, conversion rates, ACOS)
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure best-in-class monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Develop reporting standards and metrics to communicate performance, including but not limited to conversions, ROI, acquisition costs, and market share
  • Develop and manage an ongoing social content calendar for all relevant social media channels, inclusive of social strategy, sharing out KPIs, and co-owning for total marketing editorial calendar
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative partners to develop high-quality, relevant digital content across social media platforms
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the brand's identity and target positioning with core audiences. Be a steward for asmodee brands
  • ensure brand voice and personality come through in all digital marketing programs
  • Drive customer/consumer strategy and creative for key brands within the asmodee portfolio
  • In strong collaboration with marketing, vendor relations, and sales planning teams with the goal to elevate consumer solutions and capabilities and leverage key insights to drive sales and share
  • As the lead for U.S. consumer media, coordinate with global (corporate) marketing to localize shared campaigns and advise on ways to deliver on global brand priorities
  • Manage a Digital Marketing Specialist, with a focus on growing our online presence, building out and executing our social strategy across influencers, paid, and organic
  • Explore, create, and lead task force teams for new marketing initiatives such as influencer marketing, paid social, new social channels, and TikTok Shop
  • Present at bi-yearly mass buyer meetings as the marketing representative
  • Occasional travel required for trade shows and meetings – 5% of time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of executing digital marketing initiatives with demonstrated success in bringing exciting, forward-thinking ideas to life
  • Proven experience in highly impactful digital marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of current SEO and PPC principles, strategies, and tactics
  • Experience with tools and analytics related to scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and evaluating content in social media and consumer-facing campaigns
  • Experience working with a wide range of creative formats, including image, video, and link content, as well as newer formats such as ephemeral content, live videos, 360 videos and images, and GIFs
  • Self-starter, motivated, resourceful, and can take a project from start to completion
  • Strong knowledge of digital content best practices and content specifications in Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have strong skills in planning, developing, and writing marketing content for digital media channels
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with different deadlines
  • Must be trustworthy with highly confidential material
