Consumer Lending Specialist

• Assisting members via phone, email, text, and in person through the lending process
• Processing loan applications and gathering required documentation
• Completing initial underwriting steps (training provided)
• Maintaining accurate and organized loan files
• Preparing files for underwriting review and coordinating closings
• Explaining loan terms and next steps in a friendly, supportive way
• Contributing to a team focused on service, accuracy, and community impact

• Strong customer service or call center experience
• Clear, warm, and professional communication
• Enjoy helping members make confident financial decisions
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable multitasking
• Essential Excel/Word skills and an analytical mindset
• Eager to learn — lending experience is prefered, but not required
• Proven experience in loan administration and consumer lending
• Familiarity with mortgage processing, closing, and loan underwriting procedures
• Strong customer service skills, including call center experience and direct client support
• Proficiency in high-volume data entry and data analysis
• Ability to review and prepare closing documents with a high degree of accuracy
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with clients and internal teams
