We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual for the Consumer Lender - Support role to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this contract-to-permanent position, you will play a critical role in managing loan processes, supporting bankers, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal teams. Job Responsibility:
Compile and organize all necessary information for loan pre-approval, ensuring accurate and timely submission to the Credit department
Collaborate with bankers, customers, and the Credit department during underwriting to resolve discrepancies and gather required documentation
Manage loan files throughout the approval process, ensuring all due diligence items are collected prior to closing
Coordinate pre-closing activities, including scheduling closings, liaising with title companies, and reviewing loan documentation requests
Facilitate post-closing processes such as funding requests, wire transfers, and resolving outstanding items with customers and bankers
Ensure proper imaging and documentation of loan files, maintaining compliance with quality control standards
Support portfolio management by verifying credit files, clearing ticklers, and monitoring trailing documents and covenants
Assist with deposit account setup and maintenance, acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams
Address customer inquiries on fraud, overdrafts, and account maintenance, collaborating with internal experts to provide solutions
Utilize loan systems and tools to provide accurate pipeline, portfolio, and credit information to assigned bankers
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in loan administration, commercial banking, or a related field
Strong knowledge of loan origination, processing, and closing procedures
Proficiency in handling banking operations, including depository accounts and fraud resolution
Familiarity with loan systems such as Abrigo and other underwriting platforms
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and customers
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in document preparation and review
Ability to navigate complex banking processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
