Job Description

As Consumer Analyst, you will translate complex data and consumer signals into clear, actionable insights that can drive strategic and tactical impact. Partnering with teams across Data & Analytics, Product, Design, Operations, Strategy and Market to understand challenges, synthesize insights from diverse sources, and co-create solutions grounded in consumer and business relevance.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the Consumer Scorecard: Define and evolve our core KPIs (NPS, User ratings, Brand preference, CSAT, MAU, Consumer base metrics, Operational metrics etc.)
  • Analyze Loyalty & Retention: Conduct cohort and retention analysis to identify the key drivers of consumer satisfaction and long-term loyalty
  • Analyze Consumer Behavior: Dive deep into user behavior across web, app, communications and customer service channels
  • Translate Data into Action: Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into concise, actionable insights
  • Co-create Analytical Foundations: Partner with data and tech teams to ensure our data collection is high-quality, scalable, and reliable
  • Drive Performance Insights: Enable data-driven decision-making through forecasting, trend analysis, and the development of automated dashboards in Tableau, Steep or similar tools
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Act as the consumer analytics partner for teams across Instabee
  • Drive Experimentation: Design, run, and evaluate A/B tests—taking ownership from the initial hypothesis to the final conclusion and recommended next steps

Requirements

  • 4-5+ years of experience in consumer analytics, digital analytics or a related field - ideally within a fast-paced service or e-commerce environment
  • Strong business acumen and a natural drive to understand the 'why' behind the numbers
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a business-oriented mindset
  • You can translate complex analysis into sharp, actionable narratives for diverse stakeholders
  • Team player who enjoys working across Product, Tech, and Business teams
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, IT, Statistics, Business, or other relevant field
  • Proven ability to synthesize various internal and external consumer data into holistic consumer analytics and insights
  • Experience with tools such as Amplitude, GA4, or similar behavioral tracking platforms
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or similar, and experience working with large datasets
  • Ability to build and maintain clear dashboards and funnels that give our teams an ongoing view of consumer health (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, or Steep)
  • Experience in using AI tools in your analytical work is an advantage
  • Hands-on experience designing, running, and evaluating A/B tests is an advantage
  • Knowledge of digital tracking implementation and Google Tag Manager is an advantage
