Job Description:

The role involves managing consulting projects in Defense, Security, and Justice sectors. Responsibilities include business development, project and people management, and leveraging project management methodologies to deliver high-quality outcomes. A strong consulting mindset, leadership, and problem-solving skills are critical for success.

Job Responsibility:

Understand tender specifications and respond to the needs and challenges of (future) customers
Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and relevant Market contacts
Leverage your network to identify potential leads and opportunities
Contribute to bid writing, proposal development, and client presentations
Position Sopra Steria as a trusted partner within your domain
Plan, coordinate and manage multi-phase consulting projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
Apply recognised project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, PM², Agile, etc.) across projects
Identify project risks, anticipate challenges, and proactively manage client expectations
Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary, multinational teams in fast-paced environments

Requirements:

5–6 years in ICT consulting project/program management, ideally in the public sector or defense/security domains
University degree in Business, Engineering, ICT, or a related field
Recognised PM certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, PM², Agile) are highly valued
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Consulting and Business-oriented mindset with an eye for growth opportunities
Excellent organisational and problem-solving capabilities
Comfortable working in multicultural, high-security environments
Fluency in Dutch and English is a must
French is a strong asset
