Job Description:

The Consultant Specialist role involves building and contributing to product design, configuration, code deployment, performance tuning, issue resolution, compliance and security vulnerability mitigation. Responsibilities include working with Agile and DevOps practices while leveraging tools such as Ansible, Jenkins CICD pipelines, and Terraform. Knowledge in Java/Springboot, API design, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud technologies, especially GCP, is essential.

Job Responsibility:

Building and contributing to product design, configuration, code deployment, performance tuning, issue resolution, compliance and security vulnerability mitigation
Accountable for the creation and management of epics, backlog management and prioritization across teams and for conformance to the IT operating model with regards to agile and Technology Practices
Work with product owner & team to ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams
Work with the Architecture / Product lead to review requirements from a testability perspective and formulate the non-functional testing strategy

Requirements:

Strong experience in product design, configuration, code deployment, performance tuning, issue resolution, compliance and security vulnerability mitigation
Strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins CICD pipelines, Terraform, Splunk
Experience with RESTful API and/or Mule/Kong technology a plus
A track record of managing production environments involving mixed shore resources
Familiarity with the Site Reliability and Observability standards
Experience working in a hybrid environment with on-prem and multiple cloud service providers
Experience and familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices
Strong Analytical, Problem-solving and decision-making skills Innovation & Idea Management
Strong coordination and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be able to work in a changing and dynamic, global, 24 x 7 environment
Ability to work effectively as a team player

Nice to have:

Experience with RESTful API and/or Mule/Kong technology
Familiarity with the Site Reliability and Observability standards
