Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure monitoring platforms, managing RESTful APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates must have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in Agile development methodologies.

Job Responsibility:

Working within the FCCC Team to design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure monitoring platform using industry best practices
Create and manage RESTful APIs to support various application functionalities. Work on integration third-party APIs and services to enhance application capabilities
Performs sustainable continuous improvement, identify and remove organizational barriers affecting the team, processes and products owned
Manage the team and technically guide your teammates
Use Confluence to detail technical designs, user manual, release notes of owned products
Use JIRA to provide progress updates on development work
Effectively work with diverse and widely distributed teams
Advise others on technology solution and explain designs to technical and non-technical audiences
Provide prompt technical support to internal users, including debugging data issues and helping with application usage
Ensure appropriate communication and release documentation is issued to our customers and stakeholders on new product deliveries
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system automation and configuration management solutions
Communicating with various global Business & IT teams.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in software development using Python
Deep understanding of multithreading and multiprocessing
Proven experience in building high-performance, concurrent applications
Experience with RESTful API development and integration
Experience in development and managing application configurations in environments like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
Excellent teamwork, independent thinking, a strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and self-motivation
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and growing engineering talent
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Have strong verbal and written English communication skills, experience of presenting technical choices
GCP Cloud Certification or equivalent experience
Familiarity with configuration management tools. (e.g. Terraform) (nice to have)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
