Job Description:

Some careers have more impact than others. HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to join their team in the role of Consultant Specialist in Xi'an, China. The successful candidate will focus on delivering high-quality IT changes, play a key role in code development, technical consultancy, reviews, troubleshooting, and guiding, while ensuring production standards.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure successful delivery with high quality for IT changes
participate in deliveries within or across Agile teams
analyze requirements with BA/business owner
provide workable solutions, cost estimation, and delivery timeline
lead team in technology selection
define technique solutions
improve technology domain capability
present solutions to stakeholders
conduct negotiations and support
design and review code
build high quality standards
coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution
lead Agile team to define definition of done, practice story estimation, and continuous improvement
take production support
troubleshooting
root cause analysis
drive initiatives to improve system capability by adopting new technology
take multiple roles and tasks under pressure
hold knowledge-sharing activities

Requirements:

Experienced full-stack developer
background of operating production business applications
working in agile DevOps team
strong technical knowledge and skills in front-end coding
strong technical knowledge and skills in back-end coding
technical consultancy
code reviews
troubleshooting
guiding other developers
code development for new requirements
fixing existing bugs/defects
work in a larger team
understand priorities of others
managing conflicts
ensuring production standards are not compromised
