Job Description:

The Senior Engineering Lead is a global role responsible for setting and implementing best practices across our engineering organization. This role involves defining tooling roadmaps, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with our engineering standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with Data Platforms, Cloud technologies, and complex regulated environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and oversee the DevOps team and related projects
  • Design, build, and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure across production, QA, and development environments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes
  • Implement automated infrastructure capabilities (e.g., backups, security tools, monitoring)
  • Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and DevOps teams to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of products and services
  • Review requirements from a testability perspective and formulate non-functional testing strategies
  • Work with Security Specialists or Product Owners to define security testing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements
  • Implement technical currency in line with published standards and guidelines
  • Translate work requirements into development activities across teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Terraform script, Shell script
  • Certified Google Cloud Architect or equivalent certificates in other cloud vendors is an added advantage
  • Good English communication is must
  • Strong knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, CVS)
  • Experience with network infrastructure, databases, cloud, and data center operations
  • Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows OS
  • Understanding of Google Cloud and other cloud services
  • Programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, C++)
  • Production Support Experience. (Managing Change, Retrospective Changes, Incident and Problem Management Methodology)
  • Experience in GitHub Co-pilot, AI tooling is an added advantage.

Nice to have:

  • Certified Google Cloud Architect or equivalent certificates in other cloud vendors
  • Experience in GitHub Co-pilot, AI tooling
