Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. The role involves responsibility for WebSphere applications on critical platforms, troubleshooting, automating, and ensuring high-availability solutions, focusing on scripting and external cloud environments such as GCP.

Job Responsibility:

Hand-on WebSphere application on medium/large scale critical platforms
Install, configure, troubleshoot and deploy applications in WebSphere Application Server or an enterprise middleware environment
Partner with Engineers, Administrators, Architects, Developers and Project Managers to implement and support applications according to business requirements
Strong scripting (Bash and Ansible preferred) and automation skills is required
Utilize best practices and provide recommendations to improve application and system performance required to meet SLA’s
Responsible for provide on-call coverage on a rotating basis
Proven experience in a production operations capacity with Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions
Proven experience in external cloud such as GCP
Ability to work with minimal supervision and on multiple tasks simultaneously
Good problem-solving, interpersonal and presentation skills
A proactive personality with self-motivation
Provides flexible working time and advanced maintenance support for project releases and maintenance fixes

Requirements:

University graduate with degree in computer science or related discipline with minimum 3 years relevant experience
Solid experience on LDAP, IBM WebSphere MQ (Preferable on MQM 9), WAS (preferable on WAS 8/9), Tomcat, WebLogic, JWS, IHS, apache and reverse apache server
In-depth knowledge of Message Broker and Tivoli Monitoring
Experience in MQ architecture design is a must
Technical and proven understanding of publish & subscribe messaging
Good knowledge in Java and JMS programming
Experience supporting Web Services Standards and Technologies (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, DDI, REST, etc.)
Experience and Knowledge on Mircoservices and Container technology such as Nginx, Kubernetes and Docker
Google Cloud Fundamental Certified is a must
Redhat Enterprise minimum 5 yrs (ideally RHEL v7.x or RHEL 6.x) is a must
Strong Solaris and Linux administration & shell script knowledge
Experience to setup and configure application dynamic monitoring tool
Familiar with IT Security of WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Application Server
Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service
Fluent at English conversation
