Job Description:

HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to join as a Consultant Specialist. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying applications using React, Redux, TypeScript, Java, and microservices, as well as leading development teams. The role requires expertise in frontend and backend technologies, modern DevSecOps tools, cloud platforms, and agile methodologies, along with a focus on responsive design and accessibility. Job Responsibility:

Senior Frontend and backend Developer with (2-4yrs. experience) developing the UI code using React, Redux and TypeScript frameworks and proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying java-based application
Take the ownership of the deliveries, design-develop-deploy end-to-end product workflows
Work with development teams, UX designers and product owners to ideate software solutions
Build the front-end of application/components through appealing visual design specifications provided by UX team
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design approach
Understands functional and technical requirements of software components

Requirements:

Expertise in React.js: A strong command over React.js and its ecosystem is essential. You should have hands-on experience in developing robust and scalable applications using React, including proficiency in state management(Redux), component lifecycle, and hooks
Extensive knowledge of front end technologies, including JavaScript, Typescript, Webpack, CSS3 (SCSS preprocessor) and HTML5
Good understanding of modern ES6, Typescript and functional programming
Ideally, familiarity with Responsive web design and creating mobile based UI
Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests using framework/libraries like Jest, enzyme, React Testing Library
Should have a knowledge of current trends and best practices in front end technologies, including performance, accessibility, and usability
Understanding of Web Accessibility WCAG guidelines is must
Experience in leading development teams and providing technical guidance and mentorship
In-dept knowledge of java 8/11, microservices architecture, Spring boot, Postgres and Oracle
Very good understanding of containers and Container Orchestration technology such as Docker/Kubernetes and GCP Cloud platform
Understanding and experience of developing UI application with ReactJS, HTML5 and NodeJS
Hands-on experience with Unix, Git, Jenkins, Maven
Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence
Comprehensive knowledge of modern DevSecOps Tools and Techniques
experience of working in Agile Teams

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Responsive web design and creating mobile based UI
familiarity with current trends and best practices in front end technologies, including performance, accessibility, and usability
