Job Responsibility:

Providing the solution and coding work to support the successful delivery of Project/Programme outcomes in line with agreed delivery plans
Drive inputs/outputs for the technical guidance to the project delivery
Solve the critical problem and help the team the adop the new techlogy
Ensure data is accurate and reporting the latest status for all the key parameters (Status reporting, RAID reporting, Dependency reporting and Capabilities/Outcomes)
Ensure the delivery pipeline is connected with financials and within capacity
Collect thematic learnings from retrospectives to ensure cross implementation
Manage resource capacity pattern
Manages Risks and Issues through appropriate tracking and involving key members of the Programme/Project team as appropriate
Support the Agile way of working
Have a overall view of the technical skill in the scrum team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity
Provide assistance in technical leadership for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of HSBC IT systems to supported business units
Prepare detailed specifications that describe input, output and logical operation
and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language
Work with business analysts and architects to define and plan the introduction of new systems or changes to existing systems, identifying costs and requirements and ensuring plans are in place to exploit them
Apply specialist expertise in the development of IT systems with the objective of optimizing operational performance and improving quality whilst increasing cost-effectiveness
Oversee the work of less experienced staff, contributing to the delivery of projects on time and in budget with appropriate quality
Manage the rectification of production system issues with the minimum disruption to the business
Occasionally represent the department or function at a broader level
Develop an expert-level understanding of major local systems and their associated IT development requirements
Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars), internal control standards and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group’s standards of ethical behavior

Requirements:

At least 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Coach in a software development environment
Experience in delivering software in Banking environment
Excellent development background, ideally Java or similar
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Excellent mentoring skills
Experience with Microservices architecture and distribute applications
Experience on developing application using Big Query
Familiar with TDD/BDD, hands on experience of cucumber
Familiar with CI/CD and tooling (e.g. Git / Jenkins / Maven / Ansible / Cloud Build etc)
Familiar with Cloud Native developing
Experience on automation test
