Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. The role involves software development, testing, and operational support activities within a DevOps environment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring code quality, operational resilience, and continuous improvement while addressing customer needs and driving innovation.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle
End to end accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate Technology solutions to meet customer needs
Liaise with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to drive the product or service’s direction
Establish a digital environment and automate processes to ensure predictable high-quality code and data
Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality
Provide support to DevOps teams working at all stages of a product or service release/change
Address operational issues identified at all stages of a product or service release/change
Support identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met
Automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline
Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies, cyber security, and regulations.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is typically required
5 years of relevant work experience in software development, with a focus on full stack development. This includes experience in both front-end and back-end technologies
Strong proficiency in BigData skill set is essential. This includes knowledge of programming languages such as Scala, Pythob
Familiarity with different frameworks and libraries (e.g Spark )
Proficiency in database management and design, including SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
Knowledge of data modeling and query optimization
Understanding of DevOps principles, including experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes is highly desirable
Ability to analyze complex problems, design scalable solutions, and implement them effectively
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in a team environment
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Thorough understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices
Knowledge of best practices for software development, code documentation, and testing
Strong desire for continuous learning and adaptability to new technologies and frameworks.
