Job Description:

Consultant Specialist role working in IWPB Technology, responsible for working across the Technology delivery lifecycle including inception, construction, testing, release and ongoing management of products or services within a Technology team.

Job Responsibility:

Work across Technology delivery lifecycle including inception, construction, testing, release and ongoing management
Provide support across end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle including software development, testing and operational support
End-to-end accountability for a product or service
Liaise with engineers, architects and business stakeholders to drive product direction
Establish digital environment and automate processes
Create technical test plans and records including unit and integration tests
Provide support to DevOps teams
Ensure service resilience, sustainability and recovery time objectives
Automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline
Keep up-to-date with current tools, technologies and regulations

Requirements:

Full stack software engineering capability including front-end, middleware, backend
Knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies with hands-on engineering capabilities
Capability of reading newest academic and research papers in banking, financial services and technologies
Over 6-month project experience on Large Language Modelling (e.g. GPT / Llama / Bard) Transformation
Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure or Ali Cloud) with actual project experience
Familiar with over 2 programming languages (Java/Python/Golang/Node.js) and relevant Design Patterns and databases
Capability of using and extending common open frameworks (e.g. Spring, Tensor Flow, Ethereum)
Capability to build up and setup PoC Environment rapidly with Cloud, Container
Over 5-8 years' experience after university bachelor degree
Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills
Experience working in a DevOps focused environment and Agile Team
University graduate (MS or PhD preferred)
Business knowledge in financial services industry preferred

Nice to have:

Proven contribution to international academic and industrial communities and/or open source communities
Business knowledge in financial services industry (retail, wholesale and investment banking, wealth management, insurance, financial markets)
Knowledge of architecture disciplines and industry standards
Ecosystem knowledge and connectivity including incubators, accelerators, VCs and startups
Hands on delivery of digital products in a large enterprise
