Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in technical design of features with guidance
Take ownership and accountability for production incidents, in terms of timely communication, escalation and incident hygiene
Identify potential system improvements and explain their benefits
Support the establishment of a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data
Continuously contribute to code, ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant Service Management Standard
Keep up-to-date and have an understanding of the specific impact of the functional delivery, the business context of change and how a delivery may impact other functional areas
Lead production incident reviews for the team

Requirements:

At least 3+ years' proven database administration experience with Oracle, MySql, Sql & PostGres in & outside of HSBC
Solid experience to lead DevOps team include databases, middleware, OS, etc.
Experience with database standards, solution, design and deliver
Hands-on experience on database issue and problem resolving
Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
Hands-on experience on cloud databases
Hand-on experience on middle-wares
Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
Familiarity with programming languages API
Familiarity with Agile/DevOps approach and practices, additional credit for the experiences in DevOps tooling (e.g. JIRA, RTC, ARCAD, Jenkins, etc.)
