Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Design, build, and support application infrastructure
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
Build and maintain platforms for cloud application deployments (e.g., GCP)
Ensure compliance with HSBC operational risk standards, including network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, availability, and resiliency
Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions with the team
Research emerging technologies and assess their alignment with business needs
Collaborate with team members and the Infrastructure Architect to deliver technologies and services.

Requirements:

Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in root cause analysis and problem resolution
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
Experience as a Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) and automation frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Git)
Proficiency in DevOps practices, including scripting (Shell, Python) and CI/CD workflows.
