Consultant Specialist

• Develop software to integrate with numerous internal back end systems
• Develop scripts to automate infrastructure build
• Deploy updates and fixes and provide technical support
• Support and develop CI-CD pipelines
• Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously assessing vulnerability and adhering to HSBC controls

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role within an agile delivery environment
• Experience designing and building highly scalable and resilient platforms and applications
• Experience working with third party cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud and GCP
• Experience working with virtualization, automation and scheduling technologies, such as Jenkins
• Terraform
• Ansible Tower
• Puppet
• Control-M
• GIT
• Experience working with Containerization technologies like Docker (to build images) along with Container Orchestration technologies like Kubernetes (to deploy images)
• Experience working with Container Security technologies like Aquasec
• Experience working within an enterprise scale organisation
• including hands-on experience of complex data centre environments, preferably in the finance or similarly regulated sector
• Experience defining and refining operational procedures, workflows and processes to support the team in consistent and high quality execution of issue monitoring and detection
• Automation and Orchestration driven mindset
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team focused environment with a proven track record of delivering and completing assigned tasks as an individual and as team
• Willingness to continuously learn and share learnings with others

Knowledge of Python, MSSQL, MongoDB, IP networking and Linux will be an advantage
