Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. Business: GPS Technology. The role involves developing iOS applications, improving performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements:

5+ years of development experience in Swift or Objective-C and iOS native application
Familiar with iOS frameworks such as SwiftUI, Combine, UIKit, Networking, Core Animation and most popular third-party SDKs
Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocol, RESTful APIs, and JSON
Good coding skills and design thinking, familiar with common design patterns, write high-performing, scalable, reusable code
Familiar with security concepts
Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning, memory management, crash analysis, and app launch optimization
Familiar with iOS Unit/UI test, and accessibility
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Passionate about new technology, innovation, and able to work independently
Proficient in code versioning tools, for example Git, SVN
Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers, conducting code reviews, and leading technical discussions
Strong cross-team communication skills, able to drive requirements and collaborate on technical solutions.

Nice to have:

Apple app store publishing experience
Experience with Apple wallet development
Experience with iOS biometric development
Experience with internationalization, localization, and multi-region adaptation
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
App modulization and architecture design experience
Backend development experience (Node.js, Python, Java, Golang, etc.)
Experienced with AI coding tools and familiar with prompting engineering.
