Job Description:

Consultant Specialist role at HSBC focusing on automation testing, DevOps strategies, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions in a banking environment.

Job Responsibility:

Design and build automation test frameworks
Work with tech stakeholders across multiple systems
Develop test plans, test specifications, test cases and test scripts
Track and publish status of development, maintenance, and execution of automation test suites
Work as SME of Delivery Team to understand requirements and technical solutions under test
Ensure DevOps automation strategies for all solutions
Ensure successful delivery of solutions into Production environment
Perform the role of ITSO for the project if needed
Drive Engineering Excellence through Non-functional aspects
Ensure solution designs address performance, availability, security, and supportability challenges
Manage production and non-production environments set-up by coordinating with respective teams

Requirements:

Past hands-on experience working on data warehousing or Regulatory Reporting Projects
Mandatory Technologies: Google Cloud, PL SQL, SQL, Shell Scripting, batch execution and Monitoring
Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication
Good knowledge on incident management and ability to lead the team during incident/crisis calls
Ability to provide various metrics around system performance, availability and problem management to senior management
Continually enhance skills within specialisms including business knowledge, understanding of interfaces, Impact Assessments, Development, Code Scanning and Deployments along with operational/business support
