Job Description:

This role is part of the Innovation and Gen AI tech team and is responsible for supporting the use cases delivery on Innovation and GenAI, including: New use case onboarding; design, development/coding, testing & deployment into Production.

Job Responsibility:

New use case onboarding
design, development/coding, testing & deployment into Production
Conduct application engineering as a full stack engineer
Collaborate with stakeholders across business, architects, analytics and IT to an intelligent-led, deliver data driven solution on top of cloud platform
Work with Tech Lead and Solution Architects to complete the low level design
Collaborate with central teams (architecture, security, engineering, networks) who are responsible for delivering HSBC baseline cloud architecture
Ensure DevSecOps capabilities are built in as part of the solution
Ensure development is completed at a high standard and is aligned with IT governance and control frameworks

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
advanced degree is preferred
GCP or AWS certified (GCP preferred)
Prompt engineering experience preferred
Excellent core Python skills
Sound understanding of Azure / Google Cloud platforms
Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, Storage, Cloud Functions
Experience in performing data analysis, on Databases (SQL, no-SQL, DBT)
CI/CD pipelines
Security (IAM, AD, ADLDS, roles, service accounts, entitlements)
Events & Data Streaming: Data Proc, Pub-Sub, Confluent/Kafka
Strong problem solving skills and able to work independently and under pressure
Ability to communicate and explain complex ideas in both oral and written English
Good stakeholder management and influencing skills
Experience using GIT, Jira, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins and Ansible
Agile development, in particular Scrum/Kanban
Knowledge in Generative AI application is a plus
Experience in Banking and Financial Services with good understanding of the legal and compliance business
Good communication (verbal written). Ability to explain complex ideas
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Keen to learn and keen to mentor
Experience in delivering complex solutions at large organizations of varying size and complexity
Experience working in a global environment
Highly motivated, outcome driven and results oriented with the ability to prioritize and drive measurable value
Experience of Agile principles and processes and leading teams
Methods using DevOps tools and processes
Understanding of and practical experience working with DevOps teams

Nice to have:

Prompt engineering experience preferred
Knowledge in Generative AI application is a plus
